Crows are everywhere: they are found on nearly every continent and thrive in human dominated environments. They have influenced art and literature throughout history, and whether they inspire love or hate, they have certainly impacted the hearts and minds of the humans who share their space.

Because crows are so common, it may be easy to overlook the fact that they are very intelligent and have complex behaviors and social structures, including play, tool use, communal roosting, and being able to recognize specific humans.

Kaeli Swift, PhD, studies crows and other corvids (ravens, jays, and magpies), and will introduce and explain to us the world of these fascinating birds, including, of course, crow funerals.

This is a repeat of the sold out shows on January 2019 at the Kiggins and July 2019 at the Alberta Rose.

The time has come again for the bloodthirsty plant invasion. The second annual interactive screening of this infamous horror-comedy musical has even weirder props and more hilarious audience participation.

Think a vegan-friendly Rocky Horror Picture Show but with a cute man-eating plant that’s developed an appetite for blood and world domination.

New and improved, we’ve incorporated the best of all our interactive screenings into this phenomenal cult classic. You can expect to feed human limbs to a photosynthesizing monster and climb inside of Audry II’s mouth for life-threatening photo ops, and that’s just the beginning.

All attendees will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win incredible prices from our generous donors. Vegan cupcakes and treats will be available for the animal lovers too.

And the proceeds benefit the Wildwood Farm Sanctuary.
