The Back Fence PDX: MAINSTAGE show has been playing to packed good-looking audiences since 2008. The evening features local and out of town storytellers telling true personal tales based on the night’s theme. Former storytellers range from a blood-spatter expert, a pet photographer, a park ranger, funeral director, a former Scientologist, to scientists and doctors, to New York Times best-selling authors, film actors/writers/directors, and people we’ve met on the street. MAINSTAGE stories have never been told publicly. In some cases, not even to significant others.
Stories that get under your skin like a KNIFE. YES! As in: cuts like a knife, the air was so thick you could slice it with a knife, going under the knife, stabbed in the back, culinary mayhem, thanksgiving turkey drama, anyway you slice it this is gonna round out the year quite nicely.

FEATURING* returning crowd favorite JOEY SLAMON (LA) along with true stories from four other fantastic storytellers announced soon!

A portion of ticket proceeds will go to Oregon Food Bank. The Oregon Food Bank distributes food through a Statewide Network of 21 Regional Food Banks and approximately 970 partner agencies in Oregon & Clark County. Their mission: To eliminate hunger and its root causes... because no one should be hungry.
